Exploring What It Means to Be on X Now

We Made the Move. Here's Why It Matters.

We have officially joined X, and we are not just planting a flag. This is a deliberate step toward showing up where real conversations happen, where industries move fast, and where our audience spends time between meetings, commutes, and coffee breaks.

X has changed significantly over the past two years. What was once a fast-moving news feed has become something more layered: a publishing platform, a community hub, a broadcast channel, and a live feedback loop, all in one place. Being on it now means something different than it did in 2022. Let's break down exactly what that looks like.

X Is Not What It Used to Be

The platform rebranded from Twitter to X in 2023, but the changes go well beyond a new name and logo. The product has been rebuilt from the ground up around three priorities: content creation, real-time discovery, and direct monetization.

Video is now the platform's primary format. Uploads can run up to three hours long, with custom thumbnails and a dedicated video tab. Long-form writing is also built in through X Articles, which allows posts of up to 25,000 characters. That means the platform now competes directly with newsletters, YouTube, and podcasts, not just other social feeds.

For brands and creators, the shift is significant. X is no longer just for posting short takes and reacting to news. It is a full content channel with tools to match.

Why We Decided to Join Now

Timing matters on social media. Joining a platform early means building an audience before the noise gets too loud. Joining too late means fighting for attention in a saturated space.

We think now is the right moment for us. Here's why.

X is leaning hard into a "creator-first" model. In 2025 and into 2026, monetization tools expanded: ad revenue sharing, paid subscriptions, ticketed live audio events, and exclusive content tiers. The platform is actively rewarding accounts that post consistently and engage authentically. That is the kind of environment where a growing community like ours can gain real traction.

X also remains the single best platform for real-time commentary. When news breaks in our industry, X is where the conversation starts. Being present means we can join those discussions as they happen, not after the moment has passed.

What You Can Expect From Us on X

We are not going to post for the sake of posting. Every piece of content we put on X will serve a clear purpose: to inform, to spark a real conversation, or to give you something useful you can act on.

Here is what our X presence will look like in practice:

  • Behind-the-scenes updates. Short, candid posts about what we are building, what we are testing, and what we are learning along the way.

  • Industry commentary. When something shifts in our space, we will share our take quickly and clearly. No fluff, no filler.

  • Early access and announcements. X will be one of the first places we drop news. If you follow us there, you will hear things before they go anywhere else.

  • Direct conversation. We are going to reply, engage, and actually talk to people. That is the whole point of being on a social platform.

  • Longer reads via X Articles. For topics that need more space, we will use the long-form format to go deeper than a single post allows.

The Real Value of X for Communities Like Ours

One thing that sets X apart from other platforms right now is the concentration of people worth knowing. Journalists, founders, engineers, investors, researchers, and decision-makers are unusually active there. That is rare. LinkedIn can feel performative. Instagram is visual-first. X is still the place where ideas get stress-tested in public.

For our community, that means real networking opportunities. Not the kind where you send a connection request and wait three weeks for a reply, but the kind where you jump into a thread, say something sharp, and start a real exchange with someone in your field.

X has also integrated Grok, its AI assistant, into the platform experience. Grok surfaces trending topics, summarizes conversations in real time, and helps identify what people in a given space are actually talking about. For us, that is a powerful signal tool, helping us understand what matters to our audience and respond faster.

A Word on Consistency

Social media is littered with brand accounts that launched with excitement, posted for two weeks, and went quiet. We are committed to not being that account.

The algorithm on X rewards consistency. Accounts that post regularly, engage with replies, and participate in conversations are the ones that grow. Premium accounts receive between six and ten times more impressions than inactive or sporadic ones. That gap is too large to ignore.

We are building a content rhythm that is sustainable: regular posts, timely responses, and periodic long-form content when a topic deserves more depth. Nothing is going to be rushed or forced, but nothing will go dark either.

How X Fits Into the Bigger Picture

Our X presence is not a standalone project. It connects directly to everything else we are doing: our blog, our newsletter, our product updates, and our broader community channels. Think of X as the fastest moving layer of everything we publish. It is where ideas start, where feedback comes in quickest, and where we can test a message before it grows into something longer.

When we publish a blog post, X is where we share the most interesting line from it. When we get a question we hear repeatedly, X is where we answer it for everyone at once. When something big happens in our space, X is where we respond first.

It is the connective tissue between what we create and the people we create it for.

Follow Us and Join the Conversation

We are genuinely excited about this. X is a platform with real energy right now, and we are stepping into it with a clear plan and a lot to say. If you have been following us here, come find us there too. The posts will be different, the pace will be faster, and the conversations will be more direct.

Follow us on X and say hello. We read every reply.
